Can I stop calls to mobiles from a land line

Does anyone knoe if it's possible to bar calls to mobiles from a landline,
It's got to be quicker asking on here than it is waiting to get through to BT LOL

It is possible, but it's not a free sevice. I think you have to bar international calls at the same time, but you can access them with a pin code.

It would be just as easy to buy a hand set that lets you use a PIN code to lock the phone, without it no calls can be made..

As far as I know, all UK mobile numbers begin with 07, so it might be possible to block just these two numbers.

i have a binatone phone which i can put a pin in and it barrs outgoing calls, allcalls/local/international.
do not have to subscribe to bt to use this.
really handy with teenagers around.

Wouldn't stop someone plugging a different phone in. Also something to be aware of - I don't think these type of phones stop people who know how to pulse dial by tapping the hook switch.

This is BT's Call barring. £1.75pm and you can have different levels set. From just local calls only to allowing all calls.....
