Anyone know the cost of Stretch Hummers?

I hate the things but my son and his wee pals are besotted with them. I was wondering if they were really dear to hire for a while? Not for a party as such, just a half hour run around town or something similar. Does anyone know how much it costs? I don't want to contact anyone until I at least know it's within my range :o

i know someone (with poor taste who hired a stretched american limo, it was £100 for the hour, but the limo they were meant to send got broken into so they had to send the hummer, they still charged the same but it should apparently have been more expensive.

    (with poor taste)

ROFL, you got that bit right mate.

I love it when the chavs open the windows so they can be seen.
Rather negates the smoked glass feature.

stretch Limos are indeed the absolute pinnacle of chavdom - nothing, but nothing, screams I have not one ounce of class or taste than those hideous monstrosities
Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
    Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying

:rotfl::rotfl:Well, my taste won in the end (plus the fact they were TOO DEAR) and we did Go Carting. In defence of my son, he is only 12 so has no taste yet :p

At the end of term there were a disco for all the kids going up to the high school and my ds and his pals were dropped off by their parents, etc but some had stretch everythings (hummers, limos, marks :p) and my God it was hellish.

Separate from cost and taste issues, I wonder how safe these vehicles are. Presumably they are either exempt from seat belt laws or else drivers turn a blind eye, because kids always seem to be hanging out the windows screaming at pedestrians as they drive around the city. They would undoubtedly be injured in a collision, in fact I am surprised none have been decapitated by a passing bus.

The cost of a stretch hummer is loss of dignity.

Lol it’s true about the loss of dignity, I’m almost too embarrassed to relay this story however I want to make sure no one else has these issues.

Keep away from midlandslimo.com or as they’re also known limobroker.co.uk as we had an expensive bad experience with them.

A friend really wanted a Pink Stretch Hummer for her Hens Night (yes yes I know..) and it was really disappointing when instead of a Stretch Pink Hummer turning up to pick us up we had an old style Pink Limousine sent. I figured the wrong vehicle had been sent, however the driver showed me the confirmation which stated ‘Pink Limousine – 008’ and explained they do not even have Pink Hummers on the books.

The thing that makes me mad is when the confirmation came through I noticed the discrepancy and called the agent Gareth who responded ‘that’s just what it shows on the system’, however I know now this is a lie – they don’t even have Pink Stretch Hummers! (and yes some could argue they are in a better place because of this but theres something to be said for missleading the customer regardless of the product)

I have sent several emails and left several messages and had no answer or response so keep away from them.
