plus size swim wear?

why is it impossible to buy swim wear if over a size 20? i understand the theory of not wanting to see the larger person in some thing scanty. but surely someone can make something decent to wear that looks nice and is affordable. unfortunately i have jumped from an acceptable size 16 to a size 24 and every thing that is affordable is flowery, huge and expensive. i want to take a few swimsuits with me to spain in a few weeks but at £20 a go it seems unlikely. have tried ebay but have been unlucky as in some shops size things differently and the two i have bought dont fit. is it just me? am i looking in the wrong places? can someone please point me in right direction?

Some of us managed to pick up this swimsuit earlier in the year for about £5. I know that doesn't help you now but they have other swimsuits that are for control and if you were planning on ordering a few then you could always use one of the codes that are generally posted in the voucher bit of the forum.

EVANS!!! I went in there today and they have a sale on - £28 swimsuit now £15 - not bad considering the quality. It was black with a red line across under the bust. I ended up with a 2 piece though to fit my larger than life bust into properly

TESCO!! They have excellent swimwear, quite modern, and also quite basic, ranging from £5 (sale) to approx £15 (full price) and anywhere inbetween! They also go up to size 24 in alot of the ranges! HTH! Good Luck!makinprogress0

Try amplebosom.com, excellent choice, not always the cheapest but quality swimwear that can last years - even with regular swimming.0
