MP3 Player - I'm Fussy!!

Hello,

I want a good MP3 player but has to have the following:

- Hold Minimum of 1,000 songs.
- Have 3.5mm Jack.
- Good navigation, don't want to have to scroll all the way from A if I want a song beginning with L!!

How much are you looking to spend?

I wouldn't get an iPod mind, they are over rated tosh! Try a Creative player instead.

Now, would that be MP3 or FLAC? You need to specify the bitrate too if you want an accurate assessment of the necessary storage capacity.

i assume op means mp3 as the question asked was for a MP3 PLAYER

and bitrate would be the standard 128, i assume again, i appologise if im wrong

Most of my stuff is encoded at 192kbps, but if we make a guesstimation based on the not-quite-worst-case scenario - 320kbps MP3, five minutes per track - we're looking at around twelve gibibytes for a thousand tracks.
