Madonna Tickets on sale (merged)

I wonder how many will be bought to resell on eBay? Could be a case of burned fingers for the touts this time. Can I help?0
-
The fan club members were given a pre-sale code to buy 2 tickets only for the whole tour.
There have been 3500+ new members join on the date of the announcement of the tour so that they could get the code, but were not eligible for the code as you had to be an existing member.
Seems to have been a good idea to stop the touts getting the good tickets.0 -

Minimum £80 a ticket to see an artist that is well past her best is crazy.
This post should be removed from what is a money saving forum out of principle !!!
She should be ashamed of ripping off her fans so blatently.
I agree completely. This board is about saving money, not making it for one of the richest people in the universe.
Cra**y wembley arena is not worth £50 for the best seats let alone £80 for the worst. It is a blatent rip off, and I recommend these posts are relegated to a "grabbit but not moneysaving" sub board. That way, moneysavers don't get distracted by opporunities for others to make money.
I appreciate the OP was trying to pass on some useful info, but don't think here is the place.0 -
Totally disagree with the above. Madge is fab and worth the price. I am hoping to go the the Paris or Amsterdam concert!!0

I would not stress if you do not get tickets on the first day of sale.
Last time she toured there where extra dates released after all the dates sold out.
Take a look at the schedule below:
Cardiff, UK - 30/07/2006
Possible for another date 31/07/06
London Wembley Arena, UK - 01/08/2006
Possible for another date 02/08/06
London Wembley Arena, UK - 03/08/2006
Possible for another date 04-05/08/06
Rome Olympic Stadium, Italy - 06/08/2006
A lot of big venues are running this policy.
Everyone buys their tickets and a couple extra to sell on eBay for a profit.
I would bet that tickets sell on eBay for a lot less than the face value (I know mine did last time she toured ).... and this is the world that we are leaving for all our children.:eek:0 -

No offence to the OP, but this post should be on the consumer vent board.. £ 80.00 is for the seats in the car park, next to Tesco.. If you want to get a Glimpse of Madge.. Then you have to pay full whack..... BTW.. Not that she couldnt do with a bit of spare change.... :rolleyes:0 -
£80 to see her in those foul leotards - and chicken drumstick legs - yuck - this woman should hang up her dancing shoes and grow old gracefully. I feel sorry for her husband and kids - what they will have to put up with in the school yard goodness only knows.
Still, she must need the money..........Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
Taking part in Sealed Pot No.819/2011
Only essentials on Ebay/Amazon0 -
Two Wembley tickets on Ebay currently at £990
Don't all rush at once0 -
Well, I thought 80 quid was expensive! Some people willing to pay around £500 per ticket on e-bay! Madness! Selling 2 on there could pay 1/3 of my debts! :PBeing bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0

Just a point but Wembley arena isn't so cra**y any more, it's been completely refurbished in line with the new stadium ehich probably means that it won't be ready on time anyway lol.
That aside though I do think that charging these sort of prices is nothing short of extortionate and inexcusable.0
