Card Factory Competition Terms & Conditions

1. THE PRIZE: Card Factory will give the winner a new Mini One car in British Racing Green.
2. This competition is open to all UK residents aged 17 or over on 29.06.2009, excluding the families of Card Factory employees and other companies and persons associated with the competition and their families.
3. This competition will open on 29th June 2009 and close on 17th August 2009.
4. Card Factory reserves the right to withdraw, alter or suspend this competition for legal or technical reasons without any liability. Card Factory will notify withdrawal or suspension of the competition by posting notice to that effect on its website as soon as reasonably possible.
5. Only one entry per person is permitted.
6. To take part in this competition, internet access is required. This is done on the form at http://www.cardfactory.eu.com/win-a-macmillan-mini.asp.
7. You are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions by entering this competition and submitting your personal details.
8. No purchase is necessary.
10. Card Factory reserves the right to disqualify late, incomplete or multiple entries, or entries made by third parties or agents.
11. The winning entrant will be randomly selected on 31st August 2009.
12. Card Factory will endeavour to notify the winner within 7 days of the date of the prize draw.
13. The winners must claim his/her prize within fourteen (14) days of the date of being notified. If the winner does not claim his/her prize, or cannot be traced, the prize will be forfeit and another winner may be chosen.
14. The winners will be required to take part in or co-operate with any publicity (including photography) arranged by Card Factory. Refusal to do so will be considered a breach of the competition terms and conditions and will result in the withdrawal of the prize.
15. The prize is not transferable, and no cash alternative or alternative prizes will be offered.
16. In the event that the prize is unavailable due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, Card Factory reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
17. This competition is operated under the laws of England and the jurisdiction of the English courts. Card Factory does not accept responsibility for compliance with the laws of any other country and gives no assurances that prizes are lawful or appropriate in any other country and will have no liability for such.
18. This competition is promoted by Card Factory (company number 3493972) being a trading name of Sportswift Ltd whose registered office is at Century House, Brunel Road, Wakefield 41 Industrial Park, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF2 0XG. Macmillan Cancer Support is not responsible for this competition and has no liability for any kind of loss or damage arising out of or in connection with this competition.

Grr it annoys me when they make county a mandatory field but don't include the Northern Ireland counties!! It's open to ALL UK residents!!!!

Confirmation e-mail states "winner will be contacted by telephone and has 14 days to claim the prize" - the telephone number on the entry form is not a compulsory field so I left it blank. Does this mean if my name comes out of the hat and they do not have my telephone number they will re-draw until they find an entry with a 'phone number? Therefore it kinda is compulsory to give your telephone number??

Don't forget to email them to opt out of any marketing. I for one hate getting junk mail.

I have to constantly put my county as "Avon", despite it not existing since 1996 :rolleyes:
