House buying Timescales- Need opinions?

Asking how long it will take to get to exchange is like asking how long a piece of string is i'm afraid, the solicitor doesnt know what problems, if any, or what queries are going to come up in the process of the purchase.

Where are your vendors going .... you say they have a place ready to move into, are they buying that to, ie is there a chain?

My vendors have a house which they already own and when I asked them in (mid-May) was half living in it just putting in new kitchen's and bits and bobs.

So they are already in it as such so you can see there would be no delay at all in that area especially if my solicitor received the contract from them.
