"9 years married, together for 16 (yes we lived in sin and had 3 children out of wedlock, oh the shame). Yes it is okay for me to forget, but he would have been in the doghouse lol. I put my status on facebook, and one of the replies said 'omg, you must have been together in primary school' i have nice friends...........

Absolutely shocking, Sharron! We've been together for 17 years and never wanted to marry or have kids...a right conversation stopper!!Jon's lovely late mum used to accuse him of living like Satan...so happy,so is that a bad thing?

Been for a beer and curry with a group of friends tonight. Had to walk two miles to get there, lovely and warm there and absolutely p**sing down on the walk back!

Goanmad, your house sounds rather bohemian and hip!
It was our 8th wedding anniversary 3 weeks ago. We've been together 12 years. Ours were born in wedlock but DD only just made it!
I ended up convinced that DH was playing silly beggars with me earlier because I suddenly woke at 2.15 and could hear heavy big fat rain. I just thought jeans it is then and went back to sleep. When the alarm went off 1/2 hour later for me to get the kids I got up and looked out and it was blazing sun with no sign of wet floor. So I decided he'd got the hose out on his lunch break and aimed at the windows! (apparently not- I'm told by the rest of the family that it did in fact rain very heavily for about 5 minutes at 2.15)
I got up and put on the red and white print dress with silver pumps.
Off to the post office tomorrow to fetch my lovely new ebay dresses (and then list one of them straight back on there!)
After tonight I have 3 nights off, so a nice cold bottle of white for tomorrow I think!
