hi to whoever reads this email and thanks in advance to anyone who can offer em any advice.
I entered a DMP with CCCS in Oct 06. At the time i considered bankruptcy, however, as I was planning on emigrating to Australia, I decided not to go brankrupt and took out the DMP.
My question is whether I can now declare myself bankrupt from abroad. I am struggling to meet the DMP payments every month and would like to explore this option.

I think you need to talk to a professional advisor. If you can't make the repayments and want to explore bankruptcy they will help you. You can also declare yourself bankrupt and most are discharged in 12 months. When do you fly? Be aware with banktupcy your bank accounts will be closed. What makes me want to give back is I've needed debt help myself and come through it.0
