Red Card - Help!

Hey all,
I had a red card on Saturday morning for a missed delivery - it has "Royal Mail Tracked" ticked (so tracked but doesn't need signing for) and it is a packet. Has anyone else had something like this delivered in the past few days?
I'm a bit pee'd off at the mo with Royal Mail! The postie didn't even knock to try and deliver the packet, he just shoved the card through :mad::mad:. I was definitely up when he'd been but was upstairs so didn't see him at the time. I've been to the sorting office tonight to collect it and its not even there yet. The card said wait 24 hours.....I'd waited 56!!! Its not our usual posties handwriting on the card so I'm convinced we've got a dodgy stand-in one (my boyfriend has an XBox game go missing in the post while usual postie was on hol for 3 weeks too!).
If anyone can shed some light on what the package might be then it would be a huge help. Thank yooou
EDIT: Oooops sorry wrong board dammit!!

You probably ought to complain to the Royal Mail. It sounds like a certain postie needs a ticking-off.0

Oooh I wouldn't bother - I had the same problem - only x3 of my parcels were 'lost' after being 'returned to the depot'. I complained and was told to ask the sender to claim...I don't know who the sender was!!!lol And they kept leaving post out on the doorstep - the response to me complaining about this was to basically call me a liar as the postamn denied doing it! Rant over! lol:mad:0
