Funding for Masters course

My sister is currently living in the USA she has just got divorced and is returning to N.Ireland to do her Masters degree. I have been trying to sort out whether or not she can get financial assistance. She is not eligble to apply for a students loan as they dont cover Masters degree. And because she has not been a UK resident she wont get any funding. They have suggested contacting the university itself.
Does anyone have any advice as the course is full-time and she wont be able to work. She will have some money saved but the couse alone is £9000. She has still got her UK and Irish passport.

Any advice would be welcome

Thanks

Lots of courses have sponsorships from companies, which are open to anyone. I would suggest that she contacts the university.

    Hiya,

She could try a career development loan if its a vocational course or speak to the university about sponsorships or burasaries for this particular course.

here's the gov site about cdl's if your interested in looking - its a defered payment bank loan:

At masters and phd level it's often possible to get tutorships within the dept where you work (as you're considered an expert by that stage!).

So I'd look into that aspect as well.
