Boots wising up?

I emailed Boots to query why my husband had recieved his parenting vouchers etc but I hadnt. Below is part of their reply:

Before the Parenting Club was launched, our marketing team carried out extensive research with mums to be and parents of under two year old children. It became apparent from our research that parents did not wish to receive duplicates of the magazines and any special offers that were to be sent. Because of this I'm afraid you will only receive one set of our Parenting Club information per household.

sob, sob. So, no more £16 no 7 vouchers for me then.....

i love boots bargains with the rest of them but i have to be honest and i dont understand why one household would want more than one copy of the parenting magazines etc unless it was to get the bargains so i can see where boots are coming from

Yes, I think we can all see where they are coming from. The question is why it has taken them so long.

personally i agree with boots statement, i dont think it is fair that people register 1 for them, their partner then their cat, dog, canary, fish or anyone else that may stroll along the garden!!!!

its always people that do that will be the 1st to complain when companies stop issuing coupons and vouchers. but the reason they would have been stopped would have been because people would have been abusing them!!!

i'm all for a freebie, or money off or even something really cheap, but it really bugs me when you readthat people have requested 2,3,4,5 ++++
just because its free, it then means that people who would have actually used the product or really wanted to try it etc cant.

YES I KNOW I HAVE GONE ON, AND PEOPLE WILL MOAN ABOUT THIS POST BUT THIS IS MY OPINION BUT I THINK THAT IT WILL ONLY BE THE PEOPLE THAT ARE BEING GREEDY THAT IT WILL BE OFFENDING TO.
I THINK MANY OTHER GENUINE PEOPLE WILL AGREE WITH ME.
