Can you be so kind and clarify this point please. It is certainly something that would be of interest, who will be charged the NRP/PWC? It certainly appears to be a sticky wicket whichever way one looks at it.

There will be no need to ask the NRP for income details as new software is currently be written that will allow the transfer at a flick of the switch.

It is to be written by the same company who continue to make so many errors with the existing 2 systems? Heaven help us all.

Who said the system was fair?

In the event that the new system is run in the same way as the 2 before it then in the words from 'Dads Army' "We are all doomed"

Remember that it will be the same people that are running it as are now, and I am sure that we all have our own opinions of just how good they are at that!!!!!

My understanding limited as it is, shows that for some it will be a meal ticket for life and a groth industry, for the unfortunate few it will mean the end of hope as they will be destroyed by the system!

It will take into account, as has been said money that you have no access too as the Gov have it already. A tax on a tax, just a thought!

However, in the event that they actually get it correct, for those of us that are on CSA 1 in the unlikely event that we are ever moved from that system we should, by the sounds of it be better off. For my part I wont hold my breath though!

PWCs will be asked first if they want to us the commission as a fee will be charged for the new service.

As they are going to charge a fee this is classed as a service. This should mean when they botch up, their clients should, in theory, be able to sue them in the SCC for breach of contract.

I can't wait....it will take months rather than years.

why are they using gross pay???

imo thats rediculous, so they are taking money that you dont have access of into account:rolleyes:

    cant see how thats fair
I believe the idea behind this plan is that some NRPs are loading loads of their net pay into pension schemes & leaving very little left for an assessment to be made.

By using gross pay for the calculation, the NRPs wage will be taken into consideration before pension payments are taken out, therefore, leaving more for the assessment.

As usual, the majority of NRPs are being penalised because of the underhand tactics of the minority.

As for when it will happen, who knows?. I was informed in 2003 that I'd be going over to CS2 shortly, once trials with new cases had been completed. I'm still waiting!!

  • I have been paying CSA for my son since 2000 and am currently on the "Old Rules".
I have been told on numerous occasions that I will be moved over to the "New Rules" yet nothing has happened.

I cannot beleive that they are now going to impliment a new system when the previous one is still not working.

Every experience I have with the CSA is a nightmate, I have been threatened with prosecution for refusing to provide my current partners details and I have been told by a member of staff that the amount I pay is calculated by "MAGIC".

Not one person I speak to at the CSA seems to have a clue what is going on or what they are doing. I even had a guy come to the house to do a reassesement, he left saying it was to complicated????? I have also recently had a letter telling me, despite making regular monthly payments to the PWC, that I owed them £5,000 and if I did not pay within seven days I would be going to prison.

They are a bunch of clowns and the sooner my little'un turns sixteen the better.

We have a nasty piece of work for a PWC and i'm wishing our childs youth away (not so much now but definately in the bad days), thats what it amounts to really. but when we no longer need to pay mainenance our life and finances become our own affair and we can do what we want:j

just to clarify before anyone gets wrong end of stick, this does not mean I begrudge any money paid for the child because I dont. just that its going to be nice when I can spend my money on whatever I like without suffering the repercussions from my PWC. :j s'gonna be lovely, excitement :ji'm practicing excitement while I wait for the day:j how am I doing :rotfl::j:rotfl: i'm hoping to be an expert by the time hes 16:D
