Self managed DMP

Hi I've been in contact with the CCCS and they recommend a DMP for my debt problem.
I'm thinking about trying to manage my own DMP, the CCCS give good advice on calculating payments and contacting the creditors.
Any got any advice on if this is ok to do?? Also do creditors work better with DMP companies over individuals??
Thanks
Dean

Hiya
I am doing my own and most of my creditors have agreed to reduced payments without going through DMP charity. I prefer to do it myself then I can be more flexible. I know a few others that are going alone aswell.LBM MAY 2009 :T
