Put the jacket on at the absolute last minute and as soon as you are in the interview, if not encouraged to, ask politely to remove it. That way you are probably wearing the jacket for no more than 20-30 mins max. Same goes for tie. Leave it off until you arrive at destination, put on at last second.

If you are particularly hot upon arrival, ask where the lavatories are, go to loo, take off jacket, run cold tap and dampen your face and back of neck. Then run you wrists under the cold tap, its a great way to cool down quickly.

Yes, i used to have to wear a school uniform in all weathers, undo the top button (people will think you look more silly if you keep your collars fastened with sweat dripping off you than a unbuttoned collar)
    Wear a cotton shirt
Don't wear underwear, it might sound silly, however, you will sweat much less and actually feel more comfortable, and nobody will know.
    Owed out = lots.

Linen or pure cotton are the coolest fabrics, and light coloured things are better than dark.
Owing to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice. :(

American men all seem to wear t-shirts under their shirts, plain white cotton t-shirts, and they claim it keeps them cooler than just a shirt

Just make sure you don't soak your shirt with water in the lavatories otherwise it will look 10x worse!!!

Most American and Italian men wear vests/t-shirts under their work shirts to take the sweat away from their skin and keep their outer shirt dry.

The day I went it was quite warm outside but when I went inside the building it was quite cool - and they didn't ask me to take my jacket off but it wasn't necessary
