Standard Life Stakeholder PensionProperty fund

I've just called SL to change my investment instructions on my stakeholder pension, I want to pay more money into the property fund than my other fund choices. As the property fund seems to be going up month on month.
Just been informed the property fund is closed to new business so I can continue my current level of contributions but I can not increase my contribution to the property fund. What a pain I am well enoyed.

There is another Standard Life property fund, but it is an investment trust.

So you would not buy it within a pension. You'd need to open a brokerage account to get into this fund. Investment trusts are similar to funds, but they are listed, like shares. The code for this IT is "SLI".Trying to keep it simple...

Cheers for the info, but it does not help my pension. Can not believed SL close a fund to new business when the fund seems to be rocketing in value.0

Open another pension at another lifeco with a good property fund then and divert the money there. They all have them, most of them perform well.
