Hello, I am a bit of a lurker on here and find all your tips and info really useful - THANKS! I'd like to ask a bit of advice - what is the best way to get rid of mould in the bathroom? We have a bit on the grout just at the join of the bath and the wall.
We've tried the toxic chemical mould remover spray stuff but don't really want to be using that and tbh it is not really that effective. Any old style tips for me (btw, will be trying the borax and lemon juice on the tub itself which gets quite grubby - must be the water round here, we moved last year and in our previous house the bath didn't get grubby like this).
Thanks in advance for any help!

Not really old style im afraid, but i think the only way to shift it will be good old bleach, pour it on neat leave it for 1/2 hour then go back and scrub, depending on how much mould there is you may have to do this several times.

yup i bleach mine aswell. works really well. i use an old toothbrush to scrub the grout inbetween the tilesWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

How to remove mould from bathroom sealant ?
Pink0 -
I removed the mould from my DDs bathroom last week by using bleach. I put cotton wool soaked in bleach along the sealant by the bath and left it for a while. The only problem I had was that I hadn't packed any old clothes so ended up putting my pyjamas back on while using the bleach as I didn't want to risk getting bleach on my good clothes!0

stuff called GROT or grotbuster is really good.
OS, white vinegar is the bees knees. also gets rid of limescale around the taps etc. cotton wool or loo roll soaked in it, then placed around the taps and left. brilliant.0 -
Hi,
I agree with the above Domestos Grotbuster works wonders - you can find it in the supermarket in a black bottle.
Squirt on, leave for 5 mins or so then scrub with a toothbrush and rinse off. Brilliant!Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0
