I'm pleased to say that my phone is now 6 years old and still going strong...I put probably £10 every 6 months on it :D

I just don't "get" the appeal of phones and hate the whole texting culture..DD's phones are constantly bleeping, so annoying.

Does that qualify me as a grumpy ol' cow-bag? :D

Nope I wouldnt use mine except for work or calling OH - if I had a landline I could do that at home but :rolleyes: because I rent I refuse to pay BT every year or so £125 to turn on my phone line again :rolleyes:

My landline bill for calls, was a whole 42p last month...shows how little contact I instigate...I just wait for people to call me!

Annoying that BT charge so much for what is just a simple button click....(in most cases)

i don't really "get" the phone thing either....

i still can't believe the good deal i got last time with cashback x 2, laptop, phone etc etc...

i don't think e2save give stuff away so readily now though.

    Hi Pooky.....not grumpy...just retro ;)

Bookie, top right, click on MAX or one of the other amounts....it will then highlight that box and it does it...it does flaff a bit whilst buying, but it will do it.

I didn't bother getting a landline when I moved into my current flat and I don't miss it at all, must admit I do like having one little gadget that does everything - I text quite a bit (though I don't think obsessively), phone a couple of people most days, and the mobile I've currently got is also my broadband modem and camera... and was my only mp3 player until I got my iPod this year. Don't think that's bad for £30 a month! :)
