Refused mortgage - any point in applying for another yet?

We have really been messed about by a co-op bank broker and the co-op bank who kept stalling us saying they would lend but needed more information/paperwork about income. It went over the 90 period and we had to reapply. In 72 hours we were turned down: more than 6 searches on our credit file. I have applied for our experian and Im still waiting for it.
Is there any point in applying elsewhere or will they say the same?

Not all lenders apply the same criteria
So whilst one lender may say no, plenty other could say yes.
It does however, all boil down to the whole scenario, and so it may be worth going via a broker this time to make sure you get a lender that will agree the mortgage from day1, and not mess you around for such a long timeI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
