You seem to be doing pretty well to me :T If I could shift the stone or so I need to lose (and my tyre-let  ) I'd be doing it too, sorry :o

Damn... I was hoping for a miracle cure! Although I think hex has already mentioned it... it's called sticking to the planned diet and exercise for a prolonged period of time... she's obviously got more self discipline than me!

I was about to say I'd had enough and was going to bed... and then I realised that I haven't watered the pots :o so I'll be doing those and THEN going to bed with my trashy novel.

Over the weekend I need to:

    fill screenwash
    deadhead roses
    weeding
    S&S kitchen
clear, wipe and replace stuff on bathroom shelves
    finish bedroom and landing
    L3 spare room
    L3 utility room
    L1 study...
Make a start on the mountain of paperwork...

I can see it's going to be fun

ETA - oh yes, and go for a couple of decent walks ...

Kaz There goes my brain - I missed the part about the ivory for the second dress, so you were probably wondering about the flushed comment - I meant if it were the red one! lol Ivory in that would be stunning too, but I agree with others that you would be more likely to wear the first one again.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I also decluttered 4 boxes of book to a freecycler (who turned out to be a gardener!) and gave me his number.
Oooh, gardeners are very sexy, I should know, I'm married to one!

Pigpen at the rate you declutter you should be living in an empty house. Are you sure you aren't in the bit of the black hole that all the missing stuff goes to? If you can find a biro in your house, then that's probably the explanation... there are none in mine
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:My trainers must be there, along with DH's shorts and our Monopoly game and packs of cards!

Sunnygirl hope your burn heals quickly

    Congratulations Carol!

Boddy, I slept through the great storm of 87, although I was only 3 at the time!

Have a great holiday Princess Jane

Methekidsandthecat, that’s so great that your boss realised about your problem with saying no, now you have her permission to say no if you can’t manage something! Hopefully that will relieve the stress on you

Kaz, I really like the second one

Hugs Pigpen. Do something you can never do while the kids are there

Big hugs Holly, it must have been such a shock.

    Night night everyone xx

Thanks folks for all the good wishes :o

Kaz I loooove the butterfly dress, but the ivory one is lovely too.. I think it depends on how wedding-ey you want it to look, the second one is a bit more traditional I think. Both gorgeous, and I think the monsoon one would go with either! I agree with Dusty about lemony cake, but I am biased as I don't eat chocolate anyway.

    Morning All

DH pinched the computer last night so I never manged to even finish reading the thread. I've got loads to do today but not sure how much I'll get done. DS woke me up at 4.40 - I sent him back to bed but then couldn't get back to sleep myself:rolleyes:. So the WM is on and I've caught up with you lot.

    :bdaycake:Happy Birthday Jo!

Sexy - hope the bbq goes well.

Valli - well done on getting an interview.

Kazm - I like both dresses although I agree that you are more likely to wear the butterfly one again.

    Carol - well done

LL - Hugs - thinking of you.

That's all I can remember now so apologies if I've forgotten anyone.

I'm going to do a HHC now while you're all snoring!

    Have a good day all
