Should I pay a lump sum off my mortgage?

We have an endowment mortgage for £19,500.00 with Halifax that has 2 more years left. Our endowment has an expected shortfall of about £3000.00. We have £10,000.00 savings we could pay off the mortgage now.
What would be best, any advise appreciated, thanks.

Dont leave yourself without any savings but you could pay £3,000 off the mortgage now and hopefully the endowment will cover the rest.
Just keep your payment static each month ( slight overpayment!)
Good luck0
