Good price, if you really need all that.
I use, and have installed on loads of PC's this free software, and had no problems or infections at all.
It's called AVG, and it's free to private individuals: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
It performs live updates, if there any to be had, everytime you connect, and tells you as much.
You can also download most of the above in some kind of free version - ie Spyboy/adaware etc etc
Cheers

I've just received mine and it doesn't come in a box! All you get is one disc, sent in a jiffy bag with nothing else apart from a delivery note. I think £4 was a bit steep for delivery but the software is still a good price, and it's still available.
I bought it for my other half's PC as his annual subscription was due for renewal but it's cheaper to buy this and re-install it. I haven't installed it yet but I'm assuming it will be the same product as what we have already.0 -
It does indeed look to be a good price, I believe this may well be what came pre-installed as a free time-limited trial on my new Dell laptop - I got a pop-up almost as soon as I used it to suggest that I sign up for two years updates at the princely sum of £99 !!!!
A quick nosey on the Mcafee site shows they want £49.98 for a 1-year subscription: http://uk.mcafee.com/root/package.asp?pkgid=144&cid=15740

I baught this last weekend from Microdirect.co.uk for £4.24 plus about £2.79 postage, it was on offer at the time, but this seems to happen about once a week.
Currently £9.40 plus £2.79 delivery, so still a little cheaper if you can't wait.0 -
This was free on this months Computer Shopper DVD cover disk. Had some other useful bits and bobs as well plus the magazine for 4.990

I think its just 'McAfee PersonalFirewall Plus 6.1' thats free with the mag, not the security suit.

My renewal for Norton came up this week.. I looked into these OEM discs but in the end decided to go with Avast.
Great reviews and its free for home use..
I am yet to find a bad review of it. It is easy to use and everything is fine so far. As I said above though I have only just started using it.
Direct link to the 'free for home use' download: Avast Antivirus0 -
