Please Help Me .. I havent heard from the official reciever ??

Hi

I was made bankrupt approx 3-4 years ago as I was working at the time I had to pay a set amount and my tax to the office and to the official reciever. However due to too many reasons to list on here I didnt, since I left work, and am now on benefits, I havent heard anything since up until approx 3 months ago, asking my circumstances now and why I havent been in touch. I have sent them all the confirmation that I am on benefits etc but havent heard anything back from them.

I was wondering what would happen now and also how long until I can get 'credit' again do I have to apply or anything like that ? All this was never explained to me, and I just want a quick insight as to when I can get my life back lol

Hi Sue and welcome to the forum! You should have told the OR that you left work and any IPA you were paying would have been scrapped. Anyway you can't go back so no point dwelling on that.

If the OR has recently been in touch and you sent back any information requested then you could contact them to make sure they received it and whenever you send correspondence make sure you get a receipt from the post office.

Thanks for that, do you know bout owt else, eg, what happens after all that and how I can start a new credit rating etc by any chance ?

You are presumably discharged from bankruptcy now so unless you got a BRO you now have no restrictions. Check the insolvency website and make sure you're not still on there though.
