Removing a default on my credit file
 Hi Guys,:j
I am new to the site  and wanted help with removing a default from my credit file. I have followed the letter templates and have now sent 8 letters requesting a copy of the default notice as I never received one.
They have wrote this time saying they are NOT legally obliged to provide me with a copy of the default and as my account is now closed (which its not as still paying the loan at reduced monthly payments) they cannot provide me with a screen print either.
I am unsure what to do next as I was of the understanding that They HAD TO LEGALLY provide me with a copy of remove the default?
Any advice would be great - Thanks and hi to everyone :T :hello:
