Dishcharged

Well since i went Br june 16th 2008 i presume i am now dishcharged? the only letter i have had says that the Or has requested to be signed off from my case.

    If you check the insolvency site, it will tell you there that you are now discharged!! Go search for yourself and be pleased!

    it still says i am bankrupt, i am sure i read somewhere it takes a while for it to be altered.

    Nope - should be altered to the second on midnight of the 12 months.

    In which case you need to contact your OR and as its possible you are one of the few who have slipped through.

  • here in Scotland we get a letter we can even get a certificate but cost £11. I think I might buy the certificate in case I'm asked in future to prove my discharge.:j

    Hmm the cert is certainly A LOT cheaper than UK courts.....discharge cert is £65 (or free on certain benefits)
