aw i hope ds is better soon sweet!

I won a posh eye liner worth £6 from a mag and got a nails inc nail varnish for £1 instead of £10.50 (theres a deal on the grabbit board if anyone is interested) so have saved £16.50. But i don't count savings, although i'm tempted as i've done badly this month. hey ho must try harder in August!
  • Afternoon everyone! Hope you're all good, sorry I've only read back a few posts but Sweetpeas I hope your son's feeling better, sounds frightening for the poor little lad! And Jesa, yay for the interest payment - what a bonus!

I am being SO lazy today...I don't start work til 4pm, and promised myself I'd sort out stuff for a car boot sale before I went...but instead I stayed in bed until 11.30am and have been on Facebook ever since! Lazy girl! In my defence I didnt finish work until late last night, but still - big slap on the wrist for me, for wasting the day! Anyway, got a few bits to add...

    Yougov 50p.
Saved £1.95 on petrol using Tesco 5p off a litre voucher (got clubcard points too, but am going to start adding those when I receive a voucher, rather than when I earn them).
    £16.23 overtime
£2.50 petrol money from my brother.
£4.41 closing interest on savings account, which have just transferred into a new account to get better interest :D
    Tips £2.

Have just about reached my target, yay! :D God it's been a horribly expensive month though, with buying this house etc. Everything needs paying at once, and my car needs 2 new tyres too! Also annoyed with myself as I have spent a fortune on crap lately - just stupid things, like burger kings at service stations becaue I didn't plan ahead and take a sandwich with me (I don't even like bloody burger kings! lol). God it's hard this money saving lark. It's like a fountain, where you're constantly trying to make money and pouring the money into the top of the fountain - but there's a great big spout at the bottom which the money's just falling out of again, so you never actually get anywhere! lol. Anyone else feel like that sometimes?

Sorry for the moan...am going to get off my bum now, and spend the last hour before work being productive! Good luck for the last couple of days everyone xxx

Well I am back from my little break in Italy which was absolutely lovely and I’ve had a couple of days respite but I shall be picking up the reins in earnest as soon as I get home from work and trying to get a load of stuff put on Ebay tonight.

It probably isn’t going to make much difference to my total in July unless I can sell a few Buy It Nows between tonight and midnight on Friday. I do have quite a few items which I’m going to list as BIN’s so who knows maybe I will manage to sneak a last minute sale in there.

Sweetpeas hope you little one is feeling better soon :)

Hmm, most of the items I'm selling tonight are ending with bids, which is good, a few are going to the same bidder (also good, less packing) but this bidder is a brand new one in the US who hasn't asked me how much postage would be - despite this being clear as day in my listing. ARGH!!

On a nice note (I just seem to rant when I'm on here lately, sorry) My Bodyshop stuff came this morning, smells luvverly and the bags are actually rather nice too (got two of the cream bag and one of the make-up bag) so that's three pressies sorted for xmas. Would never have paid £30/£35 for them though!
