Pinkneon - wow, that's fantastic! Well done
Are you keeping or selling it?
Thankyou all so much for the good wishes etc re my new house, I’m so excited!
A couple of little bits to add for me today - Lightspeed £1, and £10 petrol money from my lovely nanna! Have also listed 10 items on Ebay, so am quite proud of myself - I hate listing, find it such a chore! Lol. Took me flamin’ ages too - anyone else found the photo uploader to be really slow lately? Oh well, it’s done now!
I’ve decided to do a car boot sale too
OH has ordered me to get rid of all my clutter before we move in together (I have a LOT of stuff!
) so that should be a good motivator, and hopefully make a bit of extra money too. I have hundreds of books so am hoping they might sell at a car boot (I‘ve listed a few on Amazon/Greenmet, but it will take forever to list and sell them all!). I’ve never done one before though, so I’m a bit scared. What if nobody wants to buy my stuff?! Lol. Any carbooters got any tips?
PS - did anyone else struggle to post on here yesterday? I kept logging in, and it just logged me straight back out again! Weird!

glitter there's a thread on the ebay board about car booting. The ones i do are tiny in comparison to the ones on a mainland but my tips are get there in good time so you get a good spot, take a flask of tea/coffee or water if it's a hot day and your own sandwiches/snacks so you don't end up spending your profit on food there, and take plenty change. They're good fun really.
I could post yesterday but threads weren't being updated, was very weird.0 -

I wouldn’t mind having a go at this but can I ask something please. Do you try and reach your target each day or do you add up what you’ve earnt over the course of a month and then divide it by the days to see if you’ve hit your target that way?
The only reason I ask is because when I list stuff on Ebay obviously it ends on a certain day so I might make much more on that day than I do on some of the others.
Just wanted to be sure I understand how it works

I think most people just aim to average it over a month. However its handy thinking 'oh, it's the 8th today, and I'm only at £52, better get my skates on and do some listings/get some mystery shopping done' etc.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
