Do Littlewoods do Credit Checks when Registering Online?

Hi guys,

I want to order some stuff from Littlewoods and pay using my debit card. When I tried to register online in the T&C's it talks about the Consumer Credit Act etc and I'm wondering whether this means they do a credit check?

I think it will only credit check you when you opp to pay via there credit account.

We use choice and littlewoods without any problems ( to be honest our credit score is not that good ) but we have started small and built it up with them , but when I ordered a fridge/freezer it went though then we got a phone call because it was to be delivered to another address they did her a credit check and was refused.

we use littlewoods all the time, we have no account with them and just pay by debit card and they have never carried out a credit check that is just for if you open a credit account with them.
