my day started after little sleep as i comprehended the Michael news xxx
when we got to wimbledon we were in awe of the size of the place, its hard to describe but its a village itms, there were pharmacies, newsagents many many food stands, bars,
and amazingly clean toilets.

We made our way to meet the debenture host, who gave us lanyrads and explained what facilites and restaurants we would enjoy, she din't know we were comp winners so didn't realise our booking was already made, she knew we were guests of the Independent,
she really really deals with high rollers, she was on about we could have a car or they could organise our hotel if we hadn't already etc.
This is there Picture Gallery on their staircase, all of the pics are of winners x

We had a walk around as we werent due at the restuarant till 11.30 am
we went to the debentures lounge, wow, you know when you want to blend in and not stick out, well the people in this lounge were uber rich not just celeb rich, very intimidating, we sat out on the balcony as i felt slightly out of place?!?!
here we had amazing views over wimbledon

once we drunk our coffees
we took a slow stroll to the reaturant and noticed some of the smaller courts, by this time 11.30amish there were thousands milling around,
the restaurant looked like a normal restuarant from the outside, but inside wow! all the table hosts lined up againt the back wall, freaky!

20 odd people just lined up waiting for the guests, we showed our reservation form, and the immaculate beautiful
floor hostess showed us to our table, and then introduced our table host to us, his name was Nicholas and again was lovely, he offered us champagne or pimms, we watched the other tables fill up and this was a real corporate restuarant heads and ceos were entertaining people, we heard alot of american voices, women immaculatley dressed, a really refined place, we ordered starters, me goats cheese and onion tart, him gazpatchio, amazing food, we were offered a bottle of red wine, Paul smiling like a mad man now, im glaring saying to him no way is he gonna get
wrecked, so to space it out x
main u can see from pic is amazing again we both had the same, steak, with green beans and mash with a creamy herby sauce,

puddings were to die for, i had a white choc cream, which was amazing and very rich, paul had a cheese platter, which looked yum xx
we were given bottles of water and free programmes to take to centre court,
we were told afternoon tea will be served between 3.30 - 5.30pm, and we were free to come back for any refreshments as and when we felt.
So off we went to Centre court, already feeling so spoilt and amazed by it all, we had our own entrance as debentures, we went up to our seats and again were stunned with brill views,
we also couldnt believe how little it all is up close, the stand was amazing seeing thousands of seats getting filled, the atmosphere was electric, when federer came on, the roar was tremendous,

Federer is just an a amzing man, i hope he wins if Murray doesn't xx

we could see into the royal box and spotted Sir terry wogan, he is a grumpy git,

when people clapped points he just sat and stared, federer is amazing to see, he is so cool and so cute that watching him was a pleasure!
when he changed shirt paul refused to give me the camera!
after the match we went for a stroll as we had been sitting down 3 hours and went for drinks back in Renshaw resturant, we both went for pimms, they said we could have our cake trolley, so we sat and watched a breathtaking cake trolley swamp the table laden with crustless sandwiches , prawn salad,
chicken salad, egg mayo, cakes were so scrumy, victoria spong, brownies, scones and cream and jam, Paul again was in heaven we also had coffee for me and tea for him xx
we went back to catch the last set of the womens match and listening to viktoria asvernka ahhhhh oohhhhh eeeeee was so funny, the crowd was in hysterics,
We had took a glass of Pimms back to enjoy with the tennis, both getting quite heady with heat and alcohol!
( me + Pimms!)
Then the mens match started, Novak and mardy fish, mardy was loved the crowd didnt like novak, espec the old lady next to us who wouldn't quit moaning at him,
Cameramen everywhere filming, that was exciting to see on its own x

leaving was crazy but we had a designated meeting place for our car to the station thankfully as thousands had left at the same time, we were orignally offered transport door to door, but refused as anyone that lives sussex surrey knows to get into london, even south london takes 3 times as long as the train,
I have to admit i shed a few tears on way home as it was such an amazing day xxx
thank u thank u thank al mac xx

How i'll top this i'll never know, we could never justify paying thousands on a day out, thats crazy money hence this experience is even more special, Paul has promised if we win the Lotto he will buy me a debenture ticket xxx
Many thanks again for posting it Al xxxxxxx
Thank you for reading xx
P.s I was under the assumption the day out was worth £1500, only checking the paperwork seeing it was £1500 per person!!!
That scared me and gave me a panic attack the night before xx
