Humax PVR-9200T - £189.99 (free p&p)

This is rated as one of the best personal video recorders (PVRs) on the market and, after much web-checking, the best price I found was £189.99 at:

I hadn't heard of this company before, but they were listed at:

http://www.hummy.org.uk/

which is a webpage dedicated to the 9200. I ordered on Sunday evening, and it arrived this morning (Tuesday), so great service.

The 9200 has a 160 GB hard drive and a Freeview tuner. I'm very impressed with it so far.

bought mine when it was first released, an absolute fab box and no subs any more to Sky.

i paid £205 when it first came out so glad it hasnt dropped too much.

I have one two although since the summertime difference it crashed twice. There should be an update OTA next week all being well.

The "Over the Air" update is this week (6th to 10th April) - just leave your Humax on standby & set to check for updates overnight, or use the manual check between those dates.

For those that can't wait, and have a serial null modem cable you can download the software from the Humax support web site to your pc, connect the Humax using the serial cable & update the software that way.

I have a null modem cable and updated the firmware a few months back unfortunately I am unable to get pc close to the humax now.
