What price do the farmers get?0

currently 20/21p per litre in central Scotland - barely break even and they have been told to expect a price cut in the coming weeks. I only wish the public realised that Asda and Tecso don't foot the bill for these promotions0

Lets face it. There are lots of different producers who get 'stung' by the big supermarkets. It's not just milk. Try eggs, meat and veg. There was a great programme on a few years ago about farmers who have to sell their products for virtually nothing to the big supermarkets just to keep the contract.
Now I know why the big supermarkets don't own daries and cattle. They rip them off so we get cheap prices.0
