    currently 20/21p per litre in central Scotland - barely break even and they have been told to expect a price cut in the coming weeks. I only wish the public realised that Asda and Tecso don't foot the bill for these promotions

  • Lets face it. There are lots of different producers who get 'stung' by the big supermarkets. It's not just milk. Try eggs, meat and veg. There was a great programme on a few years ago about farmers who have to sell their products for virtually nothing to the big supermarkets just to keep the contract.

    Now I know why the big supermarkets don't own daries and cattle. They rip them off so we get cheap prices.
