Self Employed and about to file for Bankruptcy - help!

I am still owed some money (£1400). When I go bankrupt will these people be chased for the amounts they owe? I have been chasing the funds myself to no avail and would hate them to "get away with it".

Maybe, maybe not. I am sure that the OR will write to them several times to ask for the cash and perhaps getting a letter threatening real possible legal action may spur them into paying up. However, the OR is not really likely to take them to court for it as it costs them too much money.
Once you go BR, its not your problem and you need to let it go. Difficult I know, but it will really eat at you if you don't.0 -
a mate was owed twice that for work done, but the incoming funds were to provide his float to keep trading, so the OR never touched them.
if you want to chase the debts use http://www.directroute.uk.com/ or https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp0
