Which CRA's do Brittania use for mortgage app?

Does anyone know what CRA's Britannia use for doing full credit checks when applying for a mortgage?

Its just that I have a credit card which only updates Equifax and I just paid it off and closed it but this wont show up as satisfied for another 4 to 5 weeks according to the guy on the phone. I am intending to go through a full mortgage app with Britannia on tuesday and so dont really want to over complicate my application by saying 'well I paid the card off but they wont update my credit file for a while, which you might not use anyway...'

Unless it's a really big balance I doubt it will impact things much.

It's £6,000, pleased that its gone :T, but wish the CRA's were updated more than once every 4 to 5 weeks, especially when I'm wanting to apply for a mortgage!

I know they searched Callcredit with me but that was for savings (ID Check).

I'd imagine they'd use one of the larger CRA's for the full check, someone must know!

Britannia use experian for mortgage applications. That is what their mortgage leaflet says and that is who I was checked with when I applied yesterday.

I would just be honest with them. It may be that they will require further proof, such as a letter from the credit card company.
