Miele (hoover) products being discontinued from Currys - potential bargains

Had my eye on the new Miele Cat and Dog (the S7 series - model S7260) and was trying to justify the near £300 price tag....the reviews are fantastic, the Which? rating is fantastic, but that's a lot of money for a hoover.
Just a few moments ago stopped into my local Currys to find the model I wanted just to see it in person to help decide...the cheapest online price I could find was £259. I got it, as shown on the pricing on the shelf for £127...the pricing on the shelf said 'save over £130'...no doubt. Proper printed price information sheet too - not handwritten or anything.
No typo.
I did get the last one at my store (display model, with all of the bits and the box with full warranty - looks perfect except one small scuff on the front) but they said that they were discontinuing carrying Miele products full stop.
So if you're in the market for a hoover and fancy a Miele, may be worth checking your local Currys just to be sure - I cannot guarantee of course they will have them...but worth a look at that kind of discount!

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
