At last...My battle with the High Court Enforcement company is over!

I posted on here 6 months ago about a problem I had with Sherforce, basically a debt i didnt even know had gone to court went to them, they posted just a letter through the door telling me to email them or call them regarding the matter, I sent 3 emails, then phoned the enforcement officer in person who said dont worry love write into us explaining everything and orange will accept a monthly payment once the debt is confirmed. I wrote the letter, then 4 days later my neighbour called me to say there were men with clipboards at my door and looking at my car, she gave the phone to them and he explained he was from sherforce and as i had not answered their letter they were seizing my car! I explained i had responded and spoken to him in person which he initially denied, but once i went home and showed him his number on my call register, he then found the call on his phone and admitted our conversation but couldnt remember it. to cut a long story short the supposed debt was just over 900 the only way after abuse and harrassment from him i could stop him taking the car was for my father to make a payment on his card for £2800!!!! nearly 1900 in charges which they couldnt explain at the time!

I made an official complaint to sherforce, which was ignored totally but after help from herbie21 they agreed to do a cost breakdown....which i never received, nor could they provide a levy nor a field officers report. I have never been told what happened to my complaint regarding the enforcement officer himself, but finally today 6 months on I have received a refund from sherforce for over £1600 my concern is how many people have paid these costs to them but just accepted it.

I am now intending on persuing the complaint regarding the officer and the handling of my complaint. But what I will say is never ever just accept what they are saying...or charging

well done on the refund. am suing sherforce muself and would appreciate any body who has dealings with these thieves to e mail me all details re their overcharging policy. Have been in touch with high court enforcement officers association ( their governing body) and filled in all paperwork to instigate a full internal enquiry into their pricing policy. OFT are also involved as is my local MP. anybody who has info or can provide me with documentary evidence against this company can e mail me. fejz6006@aol.com please leave me a contact number so l can ring u back. You guys out there got nothing to lose, l may be able to get your overcharges back.
