Pixmania

Options
Being very lazy here and haven't searched any threads. Are Pixmania any good. Seem cheap for the Philips TV I want but not sure if decent retailer. Any feedback would be kindly received. TIA

I tried to buy a TV from them a few months ago, had no end of problems as they said it was in stock but it wasn’t.
In the end I cancelled after waiting 6 weeks and sending about 10 emails, the credit card refund was quick but I personally wouldn’t use them ever again as they tried to fob me off with excuse after excuse.
Wouldn’t want to put you of but mine was a bad experience with them.
  • I have used them a few times with absolutely no problems - quick delivery and good prices :j

Thank you. I did a quick search within the forum on pixmania. I didn't realise it was French so might be harder to deal with if problems.Might go for the next cheapest place and through quidco which is Digital direct. Is this company any good? Couldn't do a sensible search with both words being too common. Thanks for feedback so far.

Fine if nothing goes wrong. Had to send a faulty car stereo back to France (£24 postage) and they are now saying they havn,t received it. Still trying to get compensation.
Humans only use around forty percent of their brains capacity. Imagine what we could achieve if we used the other seventy percent!

Have used Pixmania twice and found them to have excellent service, fast delivery no problems.

Beware instructions in a foreign language. I bought a Panasonic camera from them and had instructions in all languages except English. They couldn't provide them but offered me a £10 refund to purchase them but the refund never came.

Thanks everyone. Mixed reviews here. I think I will be cowardly as it is a costly item and will avoid Pixmania and maybe try them in future for less expensive goods.
    Thanks for all the contributions.

I ordered a Kodak camera from them. Once the order had gone through I realised they charged me P & P! I cancelled immediately and was told my camera was dispatched! Even so it took 7 days to get to me. After countelss emails they told me to refuse the delivery and only when they get the camera back will they credit my account. The customer service is very poor. I have had no problems with Amazon, so if you are looking for anything and spend more than £15.00 you qualify for free delivery. The customer service has been excellent.
