Sainsbury's own brand Bran Flakes used to have 3times the salt of Kelloggs, this has been reduced but most own brand cereals have more salt in them than branded.
Nope, not true. Using sainsburys as an example:
Sodium levels -
Own brand branflakes - 0.29g
kelloggs - 0.5g
Own brand cornflakes - 0.29g
kelloggs - 0.7g
Own brand rice pops - 0.3g
Kelloggs - 0.6g
Own brand frosted fkakes - 0.21g
kelloggs - 0.45g
You have to ensure you are comparing like for like, not switching between salt and sodium. It's easiest to compare sodium levels per 100g.
Salt = sodium x 2.5. Most have both on the label, but not all.
Kelloggs are atrocious when it comes to salt and sugar.0 -
I've claimed 3 boxes so far at my local Tesco0

I don't have a printer at home so I automatically request for voucher to be posted out to me. This might take a little while longer, waiting for post to arrive and such, but it does mean that I have absolutely no problem redeeming vouchers whilst shopping.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0
