does anyone know if the or when we eventually see them, get funnt about the cost of rent, ie we need to rent a 4 bed as thgere is 6 of us. 4 kids & me & my wife. the cost to rent ranges between £800 - £900 p/m.
we do pay £825 on our mortgage. we got to live somewhere.:mad:

If that is the going rate for a house the size you need in your area the OR will be fine. There is no set limit for rent, it is what it is.
If you were paying £2000 to rent an 8 bedroom house that would be a different matter

why don't you carry on paying the mortgage instead of renting then
