Just got back from M+S in London Colney and they had Rio Santos Malbec, a red organic Argentinian wine for £1.89 half original price.
No idea what it's like but OH likes his red wine, and at 14.5% Vol, should keep him happy.

Wine just opened, and OH told me to go and get six more!!
I think that means he likes it.:beer:0 -
Sadly none of this in the Victoria/Cardinal Place (London) store.0

Thank you so much for posting this bargain!
My Dad has just managed to get 6 bottles in our local M&S although he said he had to search for it as it was hidden away on a bottom shelf. He ended up kneeling on the floor to read the shelf label!
Very kindly he's donated me one! :beer:0 -
No sign of it in the Lincoln store either, and I'm not sure the member of staff I asked believed in its existence.0

Have just realised that these bottles are also part of a special offer in M&S - when you by 4 bottles of Still Wine you get 10% discount!0

Thanks Chocmonster, I hadnt realised about the 10% discount on sales of 4 bottles of wine or more. So i have just been for 4 more and it works out as £1.71 a bottle................ of course they will be going away in a cupboard though;)
While I was there I noticed they had other bottles of wine for half price for example they had a white one reduced down to £2.49 from £4.99; making it £2.24 with the 10% discount; with M&S on label, looks a bit posh to give as a present!!0 -
Thank you janthemum.
Just picked up 12 bottles from m&s in Muswell Hill London. It was in a central isle (along with more £4.99 bottles).
Works out at £1.70 a bottle! After the first few mouthfulls, it tastes quite 'jammy'. Lovely. I imagine if you found it foul, they would take the rest back, but they won't be getting mine.
I didn't really have any hopes of finding this as we never seem to have any of the bargains that float about in the rest of the country, but this is a bullseye.
so, Cheers!!!

Picked some up from London Whiteleys, not the greatest tasting wine, but guess you can't complain for the price.0

Some £4.99 and £7.50 bottles at half price in Liverpool city centre. The latter being well worth £3.75 or £3.38 with the 10% discount!0

Now that sounds like a great idea, they'd never guess...with M&S on label, looks a bit posh to give as a present!!
Thanks to all who post constructively.
Have an A1 day!0
