Mixed fruit jam ???

I can't find anything in the recipe index so...
I have about 1lb of each of cherries, raspberries and strawberries. I have made jam before but wondered if these fruits would be ok to make mixed fruit jam. Has anyone done it before?

I've had some HM HG cherry and raspberry jam on my toast today
I found small amounts of each fruit in the freezer, so made a mixed jam and it's delicious. Remember to cook the cherries before adding the berries.

Thanks all. I had thought I had better cook the cherries first. It is all fruit I have picked out of the garden, so not enough ripe at one time for single fruit jam.
Now this may be a bit manky. I have raspberries in the freezer 2 years old. I keep wondering whether to make jam with them, as I never got round to it. My inclination is to throw them out now as I think they would be too old. I hate waste but don't want to poison us.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

No! Don't throw them out! Food can't go off in the freezer so you won't poison anyone, but the quality/texture can diminish a bit over time...so the raspberries might not be great to use in deserts etc but they should be fine for jam.

I'd use them - not sure how long the rasps that I used in my mixed fruit jam were, but I'd bet they were older than that and the jam shows no deterioration

Thanks Penelope and Pink winged. You have re assured me about the old raspberries.
I made the mixed fruit jam today and it is gorgeous.
I will make some raspberry tomorrow then with the frozen raspberries. Do you reckon lemon will be ok for pectin, or will I need a bottle of pectin as they are frozen.

Raspberries are naturally rich in pectin, which doesn't degrade on freezing, so I'd just use granulated sugar, with a splash of lemon
