Hi there,
My flat purchase is going through lovely bar one thing!
I received my offer of loan from NatWest the other day, that was sent back to the solicitor and they received it yesterday. They also confirmed to me that they have the contract from the seller. Searches was done 2 odd weeks ago.
We are waiting for the lease though!, I asked my solicitor if there was anything I could see, she mentioned phoning up the estate agent to push the vendors solicitor.
I phoned the estates agents 3 times this week and they have left notes and reminders and my solicitor said this is taking way too long to get.
Is there anything I can do to speed it up, I thought it only takes a couple of days, week maximum to get a lease, does it?
Regards
BW
