Who to apply with?
Hi,
I've looked at my experian credit report and the only negative items I could find was the following:
1. I have a linked address from my Nan's address which I lived at for 3 months, but remained on electoral roll at parents (where I live now still) and thus didn't enter this into my past addresses (it was 2 years ago).
2. 1 month late payments x twice on bank loan from 3 years ago (settled then too).
3. 1 month late payment on main current account 12 months ago (no idea what this is for).
I want to apply for an £8k loan to pay off credit card debt and get second hand car. I earn £1180 per month after tax, live with parents, have £5,200 of existing debt for which I make payments of £136 per month and when I did the experian credit score it came out as excellent.
I'm not sure who to apply with and obviuosly dont want lots of applications on searches, so was thinking of picking 3 to try...(only have 1 search in last year - mobile phone related).
Thoughts and ideas most welcome (27 years old by the way and been with same employers for last 5 years) ...

I was not going to try them (HSBC) as I already have existing debt with them and think I have a poor 'internal score' as incurred a lot of o/d charges about 1-2 years ago (which I claimed back - £2k worth before the claims went on hold) so did not think it was worth it...0 -
