RE: Daily Telegraph phone calls

I've just had a nice phone call from The Daily Telegraph. Yes it was a sales call, but the guy was very polite.
As soon as I said I read the paper online he was fine, he just said 'a lot of people tend to do that nowadays, and if ever I want to buy the newspaper just phone and they will send me the offer.'
I just thought it would be easier on anyone who picks up the phone to them.
When I have had calls before it was quite hard to get them to understand I didn't want to buy the newspaper ( Just win one of their prizes .)
So result!

I've had a couple of calls from them in the past too and I always say I have a very nice neighbour who hands it in to me for free (I also say this to mag callers too) and they can never beat that price I'll try yours though if they phone again

I always enter DT comps and never get this. We do get the Telegraph, and we have the vouchers but they are in mr kateab's name, not mine so they might not pick that up.

I do tick all the opt out boxes tho, dunno if that helps.
