    Hi,

Just thought I would give an update following my time on Lighterlife (although note I was the last post so not sure if anyone will be interested!).

I started in October and after around 8 weeks I had lost 2 stone. Ideally I wanted to lose a bit more but I was also sure that I didn't want to be abstinent over christmas. On the advice of my counseller I started route to management early and I was eating a variety of foods by the time Christmas came along. On route to management I lost another half stone and actully exceeded my goal.

i have now been eating again since December and so far have managed to maintain my weight within suitable paramenters. I am back on normal food now but my attitude towards food has changed, hopefully forever. I think i will always struggle with my weight, but hopefully I can work to keep the weight off. Now I have completed my lighterlife course I am a paid up member for life whch means I can still attend sessions for as long as I like free of charge.

I still go to monthly weigh ins as I feel it helps to keep em focused.

I really don't want to put the weight back on after working so hard...and spending so much!! to get it off.

Lighterlife really worked for me, although I accept that it is drastic and wont work for everyone.

Im rubbish - ive tried most diets (havnt tried Cambridge or LL though!) the Go Lower one was ok,but some of the packs really werent all that nice - Ive still got a bin bag full of them in the dining room, I was fine for a couple of weeks, then it just got really monotonous !!
