Ooooh, it must be REALLY bad if one review on a safety site that no-one else has heard of says so! :rotfl:
I have shopped there twice with zero problems and that's good enough for me:o (no disrespect to those who use and trust such "warning" sites)0 -

Its good to know you and others have had no problems. Its a well known Firefox addon, so not a website as such, although they have one. Its for guidance really. A lot of its based on user ratings, so if a lot of others have given a site a poor rating for privacy etc, its worth bearing in mind. When a site has had a red warning, I like to double-check its ok.
I get a lot of cut price cosmetics from 1/2 price perfumes who I've been told (on this forum) do spam. Yes I do get a few emails from them, but choose to use them as they do some good deals. All down to a matter of choice.0 -

I have added this add-on now so I'll be warned next time I go anywhere potentially dodgy. Thanks, good advice.
Now, 1/2 price perfumes is a site I will never touch with a bargepole again after the last fiasco. I won't go into details but they left me hanging on for an answer about the whereabouts of my goods for 8 weeks. It was extremely embarrasing as I had ordered the item on behalf of an internet-shy friend. True it was about 3 years ago and it's possible service has improved since then, but once bitten twice shy as the saying goes ....0 -
I used them once and now get at LEAST 2 emails a day from then, despite un-subscribing several times.Undefeated Wii Fit ski jump champion!

How annoying! I'll make a note never to sign up for their email but lots of their offers seem to turn up on this forum anyway.
There are some great makeup websites and some dodgy ones. Over on the vent board there have been a couple of rip off merchants selling perfume who have taken money and never sent the perfume. On the other hand there are some really good websites and Badlydrawn girl seems to have found one here :j0 -

Yes, I get 2 daily emails from them too. It is off-putting.
Its nice to know that its ok, so thanks OP for your post. They do have some nice stuff on there.0 -

yeah the emails can be a bit of a pain but they do have ( in my humble opinion ! ) some of the best make-up offers on the web and the stuff comes in most cases the next day .Yes, I get 2 daily emails from them too. It is off-putting.
they have a good selection of £1 beauty items including Rimmel - it's defo worth a look :j:

I noticed this too and it's been advertising a new website soon but the same message has been there for at least 2 weeks now. I only use a few beauty websites and this was one of them. I can also vouch for www.Directcosmetics.com and www.magicmakeup.co.uk and www.hqhair.com (HQ doesn't sell much at discount but has a really good range of stuff).0 -
I still order stuff from there as I found their £1 deals hard to beat. I just find the constant emails a nuisance.
I will still buy from there, as I have always recieved my goods promptly, and they have always been good quality, but I have now set my spam filter to delete messages in future.
Ivory Tinkler, I have bookmarked your links. so thanks.0
