Crusts of sandwiches with the odd bit of processed cheese in and leftover chips are pretty common round here, as are toast crusts with marmite on and I cant stand marmite.
Is there anything I can do with them?

No, sorry can't think of anything, I doubt it helps but I never eat my crusts either0

Make them into bread crumbs and use them to coat home made chicken nuggets or fish fingers.
Or crumble the bread crumbs on top of a fish pie with grated cheese.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

Cut the crusts off before you make the sandwich or put the bread in the toaster, and save and make breadcrumbs with them.
It means the kids eat more as you can cut the crusts off really finely so they eat more of the bread as they tend to leave more if you leave it on.:hello:0 -
Give them to the birdies!0

I thought all adults ate crusts as they never ate them as children :-)
Saving them for fish pie crumble and breadcrumbs is a good idea, I might just cut off half of them though as he has been known to eat crusts occasionally.
Brill, thanks!0 -
it's not often we have chips left over, but on the odd occasion we do, I chop them up & use them to make a Spanish omellet(ey) kind of thing
basic method (you can add other veg/stuff too) saute onions first till transparent, then add the chopped chips & heat through, then add the seasoned beaten eggs & cook as usual, it tastes much nicer than it sounds, honest0 -

Half sandwiches and crusts are common here too - I eat them!
Otheriwse, I think breadcrumbs is the most obvious thing to do, or if there is still filling in the sandwiches, you could stash them in the freezer and build a collection until you have enough for a savoury bread pud.
Cutting the crusts off to prevent waste is futile in our house - DD still leaves a nice little edge of bread where the crusts once were :rotfl:Love and compassion to all x0 -
my DD is exactly the same, cut the crusts off and she still leaves some bread, leave them on and she leaves them! lol we can't win0
