    Hi mwa,

There's an earlier thread with some ideas that may help so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.

I'm not entirely sure what it is - it's possibly a red marker.

Husband came home from work last week and turned around and he had lipstick smeared all over his bum :rotfl: Cue me saying in a joking accusing manner:

"Just where the hell have you been?"
    "Work! What do you mean?"
    "Who's the hussy?"

:rotfl: Then as I pointed to his rear, he did a manouver like a dog chasing his tail trying to catch a look lol!

Seems that some <expletive> smeared a train seat with red lipstick, pen, crayon - I'm not sure, it looks like it was drawn on his pants!!

What can I try to get it off? I normally have a bottle of Vanish stain remover in the cupboard but I ran out - just thought I would ask on here before I buy some.

If its a marker or pen of any sort, hairspray will take it off, not sure about lipstick though. never mind you laughing, think of all the people he walked past to get home :D

Soaking in good old Stardrops and then a normal wash gets lipstick and makeup off of white shirts.

And the answer to your next question is that a gentleman never kisses and tells.

My Trade Secrets book suggests applying vaseline before washing. Not sure if it would work afterwards?
