In need of some advice

Hi, my boyfriend and I are looking to get a mortgage for about 135,000. We are looking at a house for about 160,000 and have 25,000 as deposit. He earns 28,000 a year and I earn 15,000 and we can meet the repayments. The problem is that I have just started a new job. We are hoping to secure the mortgage in November by which time I will have been in post for 6 months. However, even though my job is very secure the nature of it means I have a 12 month probationary period.

Does this mean we cannot get a mortgage for this amount as my wages would not be taken into account, only his? Can anyone offer please help and offer advice on this please.

Thank you
