Now officially BR!!

Today at 2pm, bit of running around to regarding the remision on the court fee but didn't see a judge of any sort, just had to pick the BR order up all signed by the judge, now just awaiting the OR to give me a call in the next few days, hopefully i get to keep the motor, if not i just hope he gives me the opportunity to buy it back at a low price, it's worth £500 3 months MOT and at the end of this month it'll have no tax, lets just hope he/she doesn't want to know it!

But anyhow thanks for the advice over the last few days guys, it really has eased my mind, and now it's just a case of letting the dice fall where they may with the OR.......

Cheers Mark.

Well played Mark, a free man at last;)

For the benefit of the masses. How did you sort out the reduced fees, as I seem to remember last night this was a stumbling block?

Well i went down there with the current benefit book which i sign on with after reading at the last minute in one of their forms enclosed with the SOA pack i picked up from the court a few days before, saying that they they accepted that as proof of JSA....got down there and they said "No we don't accept that...the form enclosed was wrong!! we'll be removing it from the pack straight away, it's the booklet forwhich the remission form was attached you should go by"...well at this i went down to a local (close to the court) Job centre plus (which wasn't the job centre i usually sign on)...and they thankfully dragged up my file on their system and printed out a proof of JSA letter there and then, stamped and dated it..then i toddled off back to the court, they accepted that along with £360...told me to come back at 2pm and just wait, got back to the court at 2pm and they had the BR papers waiting and signed as soon as i walked through the court doors.

Hi Mark, I'm really pleased to hear you sorted that problem out. My BR was today too and I was so disappointed for you last night when it looked as if you wouldn't get it done as I knew exactly how I would be feeling if it were me - not good.

    Great News :)

Well done Mark. I've only been BR 13 days or so and it's only really sinking in now. It gets better from here on.

    Cheers
