Bank Statements on DMP

Hi - I'm currently on month 2 of DMP with CCCS all going well so far...
I am getting used to having to budget every month - however I have a quick question.
CCCS 'allow' you £21 a month for SKY, i told them I was paying £21 when infact I am paying more than that and taking the extra from the food budget, what I want to know is - is this a problem, would I ever need to show bank statements either to the CCCS or a Court?
I hope you don't think what I am doing is wrong, CCCS allowed quite a generous food budget and i would rather spend some of it on other things.

As far as i know, you can use the money in the agreed budget as you see fit.
The only time you may have problems is if you take out more credit while on a DMP or if you miss payments. Other than that i can't see there being any problems.
They will probably review it each year but i think this will be more to see what your income is.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -
Thanks, that's what i kind of thought, I suppose it's abit like budgeting £100 for petrol and only using £80 then using the left over for something else.
i just got myself into a bit of a panic, I'll always find something to worry about!!0 -
I have been on a dmp with cccs for over 2 years and they haven't yet asked to see any of my bank statements!!
Haven't had to go to court so can't comment on that one though.
For the dmp review they just ask you what the figures are, they don't ask for updated payslips or anything at all.
I have prepay gas and electric and often turn the heating down so that we have money for emergencies - and the heating is off now and majority of the gas money is being spent on other things - though I ought to be saving it so we have extra for next winter
Any my money for haircuts isn't used every month - I save them up for a few months and get highlights instead etc
Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0
